Ormise Scott Selected as a Member of the Student Leadership Council at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette

University of Louisiana at Lafayette student, Ormise Scott of Addis, LA, was recently selected as a Student Leadership Council member.

The Student Leadership Council consists of upper-class students who are selected to serve on a leadership team. The purpose of the council is to empower students to discover their unique leadership potential and provide education on the necessary skills and traits of a quality leader, while supporting the student leaders in bringing their new skills to practice.

In the past the Student Leadership Council has sponsored leadership retreats and programs that help develop and recognize leaders on campus. The new team will soon implement the programs for 2012-2013 academic year.
