Emily Granger Recognized for Excellence In Service by University of Louisiana at Lafayette

University of Louisiana at Lafayette student Emily Granger of Rayne, LA recently received the Dean of Community Service Excellence in Service Award.

Granger is one of nineteen graduating seniors and graduate students with more than 200 verified University-based service hours in the Lafayette community. These students have reported a combined total of 11,805 service hours, which represents an estimated $224,000 economic impact to our community.

UL Lafayette is the second-largest university in Louisiana, with nearly 17,000 students. It’s among national leaders in areas such as computer science, biology, engineering, architecture and nursing.

UL Lafayette is among the top 200 public universities in the nation in research and development funding.
